In addition to tuition fees and functional fees, students shall remit other fees to the institute depending on circumstances. Such other fees shall be paid on demand at such time as circumstances may require.
These fees do not form part of the tuition fees. Neither do they form part of the functional fees! Moreover, they are not all compulsory for every student.
Of course, there are some dues that are compulsory for every student. For example, every student who applies for admission into any study programme must pay an application fee. Similarly, every student must pay the certificate fee as well as the transcript fee. This is because all students must obtain a certificate and transcript at the end of every course.
However, not every student will get a re-take. Similarly, not every student will register late. And not every student will apply for remarking. Thus, only a student who obtains a re-take will pay the due for re-take per paper; and only a student who registers late will remit the late registration surcharge. The same applies to remarking.
